Child safety
Most of our learners are children. We design everything on this site with that in mind, and we follow The Schaffa Foundation's child safety and privacy policies.
- Parents control accessChildren can only sign in with a one-time link their parent creates. There are no passwords to share or guess.
- First names onlyWe never ask for a child's full name, date of birth, school or photo.
- No contact between usersThere are no chat, comments or messages. Learners can't see or contact each other.
- No ads or trackingNo advertising, no analytics and no third-party scripts. Fonts and software are served from our own server.
- Parents see everythingEvery lesson, attempt and hint appears on the parent dashboard, and parents can set learning hours, limit daily time or pause access.
- Checked people onlyAnyone who mentors learners holds a current Working With Children Check.
- AI with supervisionWhen an AI tutor is added, it will be clearly labelled, every conversation will be visible to parents, and parents decide when it's switched on.
- Data kept in AustraliaLearning records are stored on servers in Australia, looked after by HostSavers.
